Eindhoven officially gets a new mayor today. John Jorritsma is installed during a special council meeting
Jorritsma will take the oath from the Commissioner of the King, Wim van de Donk, today at the Council Chambers. The mayor of Helmond and vice president of the Metropolitan Region of Eindhoven, Elly Blanksma, will address the new mayor.
After receiving the Chain of Office and gavel, the new mayor will close the special council meeting as the new chairman.
The installation of John Jorritsma will be broadcast live tonight at Studio040 at 19:30hrs.
