The Eindhoven region will soon get forty three electrical buses, making it the biggest fleet of electrical buses in the Netherlands.
Hermes, part of Connexxion, is testing out the first vehicles at the moment. During the first phase the buses are still bright blue, with images of parts of Eindhoven city. But eventually they will all have the red and white colours of the province it represents, Brabant.
This week the first charging stations have been placed at Hermes at de Dorgelolaan, with a special construction to allow the buses to be charged more easily.
