Making music together with your child

DingDong a Belgian based music school starts to bring music classes for children and their caregivers in Eindhoven.

They do this with the concept of Music Together® a New Jersey, United States organisation which develops musically-rich curriculums since 1987.

The fall term with new classes in Parktheater Eindhoven on Tuesdays starts 20 September 2016.

Music Together aims to bring musical experiences to children together with their grownups like sharing songs, rhymes, movement, and instrument play.

According to Mariëtte Jansen, Director and teacher in Eindhoven of DingDong-music: “music, especially early in life, has tremendous power to support the developing child in all their growing capacities. In addition to being enjoyable for its own sake, it forges unique connections in the brain, integrating mind, body, and emotions. It enhances a child’s language, cognitive, emotional, social, physical development as well as their learning habits and dispositions.”

The Music Together programme is offered in over 2,500 communities and 40 countries worldwide.
