A debate about suitable education in the region is taking place this evening at the Summa College on Van Vorststraat in Eindhoven. Parents, schools, teachers, school boards and members o the Second Chamber Van Meenen (D66) and Ypma (PvdA) will be involved.
Suitable education was introduced two years ago. The aim is to keep children with learning and behavioural issues, such as ADHD or autism more often within regular education.
The Eindhoven branches of D66 and PvdA feel this is a good moment to evaluate this new development and open up the discussion. Among the topics will be whether or not suitable education works, and whether teachers and parents are enthusiastic about it.
The debate starts at half past seven this evening. All are welcome.
