De Heuvel shopping centre in Eindhoven’s city centre has been named the nation’s most environmentally-friendly.
The 25-year-old centre recently underwent renovations with a focus on sustainability, using specialised building materials.
Since then, gas and energy consumption within the building decreased by more than one third.
