A car burned out completely late yesterday evening on Kanaaldijk in Geldrop. The car was totally destroyed in the fire.
The fire had been blazing for some time prior to the fire brigade arriving, so there was very little they could do.
There was no-one near the fire and for that reason, and because the car was at a remote location, the assumption is that this is a case of arson. Police are investigating the possibility that the car had been stolen.
