Residents of the area surrounding Eindhoven’s TD building will be briefed at the city hall tonight over plans for the vacant Edenstraat property.
Two proposals have been made for the building, which formerly housed the municipal technical service. The potential buyers will give a presentation detailing their proposals before a Q&A session with residents.
Real estate developers Foolen en Reijs hope to develop a residential home for senior citizens, complete with a sauna and lunchroom.
Meanwhile, designer Piet Hein Eek proposes a living and working space with workshops, a restaurant, and shops, where residents will have the freedom to build their own "palace".
City officials are due to decide which proposal will go forward next month.
