A man was trapped under a fallen tree in the Philips de Jonghpark, in Eindhoven, last evening. Luckily, the victim had his mobile phone with him, which he used to call the emergency services for help.
Since the accident occurred in a remote area of the park, the emergency services experienced difficulties in locating the victim in the dark. Ambulances could not reach the scene and the emergency services personnel had to find and approach the victim on foot.
The extent of the injuries the victim had endured, are yet unknown. He was eventually taken to the hospital by an ambulance.
