PSV’s victory over FC Utrecht was well-deserved, according to trainer Phillip Cocu. The Eindhoveners won 2-0 away, and avenging last Thursday, when Utrecht put them out of the National Cup tournament.
However, the defeat was a learning experience, in Cocu’s opinion. The team looked at the best wa y of beating Utrecht, and made the necessary adjustments. And that, says the trainer, made all the difference.
Taking home those three points has put PSA back in the lead at the top of the league, a position briefly lost to Ajax earlier yesterday, after that club won from Feyenoord in the derby.
