Police have arrested two 18 year-old suspects from Veldhoven, in connection with the violent mugging of a cyclist from Eindhoven.
One suspect was arrested yesterday evening, and the other this morning. The mugging took place on Saturday night, at around 3 a.m. on Sint Janstraat in Veldhoven.
A 22 year-old cyclist was attacked, and robbed of his wallet and mobile phone. The man was seriously injured in the attack and had to be taken to hospital by ambulance.
The two suspects are being held in custody, pending further investigation.
