Philips signed an 18-year mega-contract with Canada’s Mackenzie Health hospital yesterday.
The Dutch electronics giant will supply medical equipment such as CT and MRI scanners in the agreement, worth CAD$300million (€210million).
Besides equipment, Philips will also pay maintenance costs and provide staff training.
Reconstruction on Mackenzie Health began earlier this year. The 350-bed hospital will accommodate twice the number of patients by 2019.
