The Blue Collar Hotel in Eindhoven’s Klokgebouw was awarded first prize by judges in a competition to find the nicest bar in the Netherlands.
The judges noted materials used (wood and zinc) and hand-painted beer tanks as factors in their unanimous decision. The bar’s industrial concept and quality lighting also drew praise. The prize included a certificate, a cup, a coffee machine, and a brewery visit.
Organised by hospitality platform Entree, the contest’s third edition attracted a record number of votes – more than 18,000.
