Student Rowing Club Thêta marks the occasion of the forty years existence today by the first edition of “On Land, at Sea and in the Channel”, after a famous Dutch tv show.
Since many students have several old bikes, the famous version of "Fiets hem erin" (Ride your bike in the water) is chosen. Students can join as a committee, sorority, fraternity, house or carnival association. This event will take place at the jetty of the Eindhovens Kanaal.
Students are encouraged by Johan Vlemmix who signals the start and is member of the jury. The first bike enters the water at 14:00hrs. The awards ceremony is at 18:00hrs.
