Important visitor will visit Eindhoven Fontys School for Social Studies: Minister Van Rijn. He will talk with caregivers (‘mantelzogers’) and students to form a picture of the Dutch health care in practice. Since January 1, 2015, no longer the government, but the municipalities are responsible for certain health care tasks.
State Secretary Van Rijn wants to know how the transfer of care has emerged and whether new initiatives are created. That is why he, during the lecture, not only will talk with care givers and students, but also with Liesbeth Hoogendijk, Director of Mezzo care facility.
The aim is to find out whether there are any unnecessary rules and forms. Those could obstruct care in practice according to Van Rijn.
