A plane carrying rescue workers who travelled to the earthquake disaster in Nepal to search for survivors will be arriving on the Eindhoven Air Force Base on Wednesday, the 6th of May.
The plane, a KDC-10 transport aircraft, left for Nepal on Saturday. The Dutch aid workers are recalled to return to the Netherlands since the Nepalese authorities have decided to discontinue the search for survivors.
The flight also carried goods for Artsen Zonder Grenzen (Medecins Sans Frontieres), the Red Cross and Cordaid for the devastated country.
On the way back the plane will be carrying other Dutch nationals who were on holiday in Nepal.
The Belgian rescue team will also be flying in from Nepal into the Eindhoven Air Force Base today.
