‘Orange scent should stop aggression on Stratumseind’

If you stagger drunkenly along the Stratumseind and you take a deep breath, then it could mean that for the next year or so, you won’t get the heavy smell of beer and sweat, but orange scent instead. It has been scientifically proven to be calming.

Tinus Kanters is the Project Leader for Safety and Quality of life in the Stratumseind, and was quoted in the ED as saying that the orange scent should prevent aggressive behaviour while people are out enjoying the nightlife. It has already been proven to work on detainees in the cells.

Scent is not the only method that is currently being tested. There are also experiments being carried out with light and colour on the Stratumseind, which will be used as a kind of living lab.
