A 47-year-old man from Nuenen collided with a car this early morning on the crossing Huizingalaan – Lieven de Keylaan in Eindhoven and died in hospital afterwards.
The collision took place around 07:00 hrs this morning. A trauma helicopter and 2 ambulances were called to the scene. The ambulance staff didn’t want to wait for the helicopter and rushed the cyclist to the close-by hospital. The wounded man died in hospital due to severe injuries.
The 24-year-old car driver, also from Nuenen incurred no injuries and was taken to the police station for further questioning.
