PSV’s head coach Philip Cocu was satisfied with the combativity his team showed during the game against Utrecht yesterday. The Eindhoveners won 5 to 1.
After a disappointing 1 – 1 draw against Panathinaikos last Thursday, PSV started the game against Utrecht with a true fighting spirit, Cocu said. And it paid off, because they scored 3 times during the first half.
Cocu remains critical because the team encountered some problems after Utrecht received a red card and only had 10 players left. Towards the end of the game, however, they managed to score two more goals.
PSV is still leading the Eredivisie table.
