Park Hilaria was opened this afternoon at 14:00. For ten days, part of the John F. Kennedylaan is the site for the Eindhoven fair again.
In the first few hours after the opening of the funfair things were rather quiet. Only a handful of people were at the fairgrounds then. Nevertheless, the operators are hopeful the fair will be a success. The weather is better than last year, and, therefore, more visitors are being expected.
Visitors have also been looking forward to the fair, which is the highlight of the year for many of them. Nevertheless, opinions about the park are divided this year. According to some visitors, many of the fairground attractions are aimed at children and are, therefore, less exciting.
Studio040, in cooperation with Park Hilaria, has a special offer next Monday. A golden egg laid by Larie, the fair pet bird, containing 50 fair tokens, will be given away to one of the listeners.
