Clubs are competing for a place in the European League. With a 1-0 home win, PSV slightly has a better chance to win.
Head coach Phillip Cocu is confident about a good outcome. "The team is brimming with confidence", he said. This is partly due to the victory over Ajax last Sunday, after being behind with 0-1 in that game.
However, Cocu realises that the European League is of a different league, where the Eindhoven team could expect a different kind of match.
Not present in the competition is Georginio Wijnaldum, who remains in Eindhoven after suffering an injury.
"(Wijnaldum) is a loss to the team," Cocu mentions, "because Wijnaldum is an important link in the team. But, the team has a good replacement."
