On Monday afternoon, the police apprehended two men following their attempt to escape from a house containing a Cannabis nursery.
Monday, in the early afternoon the police received notification that two men climbed over a fence in a house on the Rode Kruislaan. Once officers arrived at the scene, they heard sounds indicating that someone was in the house. However, the door was not opened once they knocked.
Meanwhile, the two men attempted to escape via the rear side of the house and climbed over the fence into the garden of the neighbours. Eventually, they were apprehended two gardens further.
The Cannabis nursery in the house contained about 200 plants. The two men were arrested, the Cannabis nursery was confiscated and the plants will be destroyed.
