More and more people do not want ‘plofkip’ (factory farmed chicken) on their plates and the demand for organic vegetables is also increasing. However, not everyone has enough time to buy all these products at various farms. Eating organic food is fine, but it should not be too difficult or time-consuming.
Website www.deterra.nl has come up with a solution. Organic products from farms in the area can be ordered online, but picked up at one specific location in the city. The Wasvenboerderij and Seats to Meet at Strijp-S are the two collection points in Eindhoven.
Water buffalo farm The Stoerderij, vegetable nursery Oppers, the ‘Blije Big’ (Joyful Piglet), the Heyde Hoeve and cheesefarm The Ruurhoeve also participate in this initiative.
