Pink Saturday does not begin until next week, but the Pink Art route already started today. Several institutions are participating, with exhibitions devoted to diversity and sexuality.
It is quite exceptional that all these institutions exhibit works together. For instance, art gallery Nasty Alice has a performance at the Van Abbemuseum and, in turn, the Van Abbe has placed a display case at Contempo Gallery and Contempo exhibits at Nasty Alice’s.
Mary-Ann Schreurs, the Councillor for Culture, opened the Art route this afternoon at 14:15. Only people over the age of sixteen are allowed to participate.
