Turkish store chain opens first branch in Eindhoven

The Turkish retailer Karaca opens the doors of its first Dutch branch in Eindhoven today.

Karaca sells household goods and kitchen utensils. In Turkey, the store’s name has, appropriately, become a household word and the retailer has been examining whether its concept could also become popular abroad. Outside Turkey, there are already several franchise stores in, for instance, Belgium, Denmark and Germany. And now in the Netherlands as well.

However, the Eindhoven branch will not be the first one for long, as the retail chain intends to have five stores in the Netherlands within a year. At the moment suitable locations are being looked for in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Enschede.

So, as of today, Karaca can be found on the corner of the Markt and the Jan van Lieshoutstraat in Eindhoven.
