Political party PvdA Eindhoven is concerned about the discontinuation of the ‘Enforcer Supervision and Safety Police’-course of Summa College.
The course was discontinued because of a lack of internships at the police force. In addition, Summa College also thinks there is not enough employment perspective for students.
PvdA is wondering if the board of mayor and aldermen can change Summa College’s mind, by offering support in the search for internships.
Next year, students who are now enrolled in this particular course at Summa College will have to choose between two related programs to become a private security officer.
