The course of the Eindhoven marathon has been changed again. In this year’s edition, it starts at the Montgomerylaan, instead of the Vestdijk where it started last October, says Omroep Brabant.
The organisation did not like the Vestdijk start, because the runners would all be running through the finish area first. They could only finish building the finish area once all the runners had departed.
Until last year, the Montgomerylaan has always been the starting point of the marathon. The organisation is not going back to the old situation entirely, because the start will be a little closer to the city centre, close to the Beursgebouw, now.
