The operating theatres at Maxima’s Medical Centre will be evacuated 24 times this month. The purpose of this exercise is to test if the operating theatres are fireproof.
The evacuation drills will take place over a period of eight days in the Veldhoven and Eindhoven locations. Approximately 200 medical specialists and assistants will participate.
According to Maxima’s Medical Centre, the patients will not be disturbed nor will they notice the evacuation drills.
