The Eindhoven team was the first to reach the finish in the World Solar Challenge’s Cruiser Class in Australia. The Cruiser Class is for solar-powered family cars.
This means the TU/e is going finish in the top 3. The Cruiser Class is a race where speed is not the only criterion. Cars will also be judged for the number of people transported, the amount of energy taken from the grid, and its user friendliness.
Tomorrow, Stella -the TU/e’s car- is going to be judged on practicality. Then, the score will determine who the winner is.
