Philips’ former science lab is going to serve as theatre, cinema and art exhibition.
Three local organisations will be housed in the renewed building: cinema Plaza Futura, Baltan Laboratories and film platform Broet. In 2015, the intermediate vocational training school Sint Lucas will also move to the Natlab.
Important discoveries were made at the Natlab, such as the audio cassette and the cd.
