Philips’ Lifeline System killed people in the United States, claims former employee Denise Rock. She filed a lawsuit against Philips Lifeline.
The Eindhovens Dagblad states that incidents would have occurred between 2007 and 2009.The Lifeline System is used by the elderly. They are wearing a necklace with a pendant including a button they then can press if they need medical attention.Due to overheating, the system may catch fire. Nine people might have died this way.According to the newspaper, Philips does not know about these incidents.
