Starting today, the Indoor Sportcentrum Eindhoven stages a three-day long international wheelchair hockey competition, the GP Bulls E-hockey tournament.
There are fourteen teams from eight different countries. Eindhoven is represented by two teams of the Genneper Parken Bulls. Wheelchair hockey is for people who are tied to a wheelchair because of a severe physical disability. The tournament is not just for the athletes. It is also organized to let people experience what it is like to have a disability. There are wheelchairs stand-by which can be used by children without physical hindrance.On Friday, Alderman List opens the tournament with a flag parade.
