Today, students of the Technical University of Eindhoven presented their cars for the prestigious Solar Challenge in Australia. It is a solar-powered family car.
With this car, they will participate in a brand new class in the World Solar Challenge, the Cruiser Class. This means that, in addition to speed, it will also be rated on the number of persons carried, energy consumption and practicality.
In October, the Eindhoven car will be at the start of the Solar Challenge in Australia. The TU Delft and TU Twente will also participate in the prestigious competition for solar-powered cars.
