Chip machine producer ASML is expecting more turnover than was predicted.
The company aimed to have the same turnover as last year, but now it appears that it could be more. This emerged this morning at the presentation of the figures for the second quarter.ASML is now expecting a turnover of 5 billion euros over 2013. That is about 300 million euros more than expected.Net profit in the second quarter dropped compared to last year. Now it is 239 million euros and it was 292 million last year.
