Free food at restaurant for Ramadan

The Moroccan restaurant Chomicha on the Kruisstraat is offering free food for poor families.

Ramadan is on for a while. Muslims are only allowed to eat when the Sun has set. But Ramadan also means to give to others without benefit. The food the restaurant is giving away can be for Muslims, but also for non-Muslims. Every day, after sunset, six people can take part in the extensive buffet.Ramadan will end on 8 August this year, after that is the Eid, also known as the sugar feast.
