A 76-year-old woman from Eindhoven has passed away Monday afternoon after a collision with a garbage truck.
The truck came from the direction of the ‘Kleine Bleekstraat’ and was headed towards the ‘Vestdijk’. The woman was riding her bicycle when for unknown reasons, collided with the truck.
Emergency services tried to rescue the victim to no avail. The woman died on the scene.
Police will further investigate the incident to determine how the accident could have taken place.
