Last Tuesday, police have arrested a 38-year-old man from Geldrop in the home of his girlfriend in Gestel, Eindhoven. He allegedly assaulted his pregnant girlfriend.
When they were having an argument, the man is said to have squeezed the 37-year-old victim’s throat and to have hit her in the stomach. After the woman warned the police, he allegedly also destroyed her phone.
The man from Geldrop was taken to the police station, where he is being held for further investigation.
