LPF is upset about a new home for the elderly

Political party LPF (List Pim Fortuyn) has expressed major concerns about a new home for the elderly that housing corporation Trudo is planning to build in residential area ‘De Bennekel’. The home would be exclusively reserved for senior citizens with a Turkish background. LPF has put the issue on the official city council’s agenda.

The new home is said to be necessary because elderly people with a Turkish or Islamic background do not feel comfortable in a home that also houses native Dutch people.
According to LPF a home solely for Turkish people will increase separation, instead of integration.
And that is not just the party’s point of view. Because according to LPF, angry residents from De Bennekel have already started a petition against the build of this new home.
