From Saturday 4 May, the weekly market will be back on Woenselse Markt. The work being done there is nearly finished.
The weekly market moved to Kennedylaan in January this year, because Woenselse Markt was being renovated. The square now has more trees and benches, and a stage. On days other than Saturday (when the weekly market is held) the square contains 230 parking spaces. At present parking is free, but from Monday, 6 May paid parking will be introduced.The Woenselse market is known for its international atmosphere.
