An ice hockey game in Eindhoven escalated on Saturday evening. A referee attacked a supporter in the stands of the Ice Sport Center in Eindhoven.
The referee stormed onto the stands still wearing his ice skates and started fighting a fan from the visiting team. The Telegraaf website caught it on film and it can be seen on their website.The incident took place during a duel between the first division teams:High Techs (THT from Eindhoven) and the Nijmegen Devils.
