EINDHOVEN – To make public events more accessible for the international community of Eindhoven, a number of events in Eindhoven are enriched with an English program; International Programme@events, as there are various events that are also of interest for the international community too.
The internationals in Eindhoven (students, knowledge workers/expats and their families) have become an important and growing group for the city. Because of that, this joint initiative has been brought in by the Hub Eindhoven, TU/e, Fontys Hogescholen, International School Eindhoven, Expat Center Brabant and Brainport Development and Eindhoven365 to come up with an international program for existing events; International Programme@events. In the months of September and October, there were some events that offered international programs. The regular programs of Hallo Cultuur, Marathon Eindhoven, Lichtjesroute and Dutch Design Week, were expanded with English websites and activities.Also during GLOW Light festival from 10 until 17 November an international program will be offered. Saturday 10 November there is an international GLOW Walk under the escort of an English speaking guide. Saturday 10 November ‘Diwali’ will be taking place.
