Norovirus at barracks Oirschot

OIRSCHOT – The highly infectious norovirus reigns at the ‘Generaal Majoor de Ruyter van Steveninck’ barracks in Oirschot. The outbreak began in a classroom Safety and Craftsmanship at a ‘ROC’ (regional education centre). The classroom was sent home, not to jeopardize other units. This is made known on Tuesday by the Land Forces.

The symptoms of the virus include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and headache. The students, but also all the other staff at the barracks have been informed about the virus and about preventive measures to take such as hygiene.
