Having met while studying for their Master’s degree in percussion at Rotterdam’s Codarts Conservatory, musicians Emilio Saura, Maria Martínez, Niels Verbeek and Antonio Gutiérrez formed a quartet that pushes the boundaries of percussive experimentation. This compelling ensemble is innovative in their mingling of both traditional and contemporary rhythms with ethnic and modern instruments. The Havelok quartet’s captivating interpretation reflects mastery and passion, invigorating audiences and transforming the concert experience.

After the Jury concert in Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, the audience can visit the Warehouse of Innovation where the Havelok percussion ensemble will perform in the industrial surroundings of the former V&D building.
