Conceptual designer Lucas Maassen and Scottish composer Genevieve Murphy were asked to collaborate to create a new design for an evening of chamber music. Music in design and design in music! A logical idea for Maassen, whose ‘Singing chair’ was exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Similarly for Murphy, who recently curated a programme for the Stedelijk Museum.

This event is in collaboration with the Storioni Festival: a chambermusic festival that brings together international musicians and all other kinds of artists. The theme this year is ”Designing new traditions”. With events held in Eindhoven, Breda, Den Bosch, Tilburg and Helmond the festival has been a widespread succes celebrating it’s tenth birthday this year!
