The streets you walk through it. The air you breathe. The park where you walk the dog. The soil where you stand on. Water. Everything in your immediate surroundings has been thought through. That thinking is captured in rules, laws, rules, regulations. The spatial design of the Netherlands has so many rules that only experts have overview on the whole. Information is (digital) available, but it is too much, not clear, sometimes contradictory and not transparent. That is difficult when you would like to improve this environment, make it more convenient, better or more friendly. This is difficult if you want to develop a initiative in this area. Because what is allowed and what not? And who have to come along?
