Lie down and listen with DJ Lady Aïda at Van Abbemuseum

April 4, 2019 @ 19:00 - 21:30

E20.

An intimate live music performance in between the Van Abbemuseum art with DJ Lady Aïda.

Where the dj-vedette Lady Aïda has been painting dance floors and festivals red in Europe and abroad since the late eighties, she offers nowadays a very different music experience with her live Snooze Sessions. This time she takes the floor of the Van Abbemuseum with an intimate live performance in one of the many art installations.

Visitors can lie down and listen, relaxing on a soft carpet. Do not expect a techno dj set this time, but an electronic, beatless and immersive sound trip through time, where Lady Aïda takes you into a dream world of soundscapes.

During this concert, the audience experiences Lady Aïda in a different way; not standing up dancing but lying down. This way the audience experiences her story in a totally different mode, but as intensely as when you can dance on her beats.

For a number of years, Lady Aïda is also Kundalini yogi and teacher with her own yoga project: Pop Up Yoga Eindhoven. Her goal with Pop Up Yoga Eindhoven is to bring yoga and meditation to urban places such as public gardens, squares, buildings and theaters. Aïda’s mission: to find the boundaries between art, design, technology and science with spirituality.

Presale has now started. Only 50 tickets are available. Wear loose-fitting clothing and bring a blanket and pillow with you to lay your head on and enjoy to the maximum.

Thursday April 4. Doors open 9.00. Start: 19.30
