International Women’s Day at TSH

At The Student Hotel, everybody should LOVE and RESPECT everybody but on 7 March they will create a space for awareness and empower the women’s movements across the world in support of the International Women’s Day 2020 celebration.

To celebrate International Women’s Day there will be a full program of Art, Music, Awareness, Inspiration, Workshops and of course nice drinks and tasty food.

Program:
11:30 – Welcome drinks at The Commons Eindhoven
12:30 – The history and meaning of IWD by The Wave
12:45 – Feminism and what it entails by The Wave
13:15 – Panel Talk with Jess Oberlin, The Wave,
Lisa Schrofner, Elisa Õtanez and Amani Sahli
* The effect of your gender on your life trajectory
* Overcoming challenges due to gender inequality
* Why role models are important for everyone
* Gender equality in our public spaces
* How the collaboration between women/girls can become a movement to make a difference
* The importance of visibility and representation for women
15:15 – Workshop on becoming aware of violence against women and stereotypes by The Wave
16:30 – Pick your own happiness by Amani Sahli and
Roza Luksic / BedTalk
17:15 – Closing and optional drinks at The Commons

Afterwards you can join the KarajØke Party x The Student Hotel Eindhoven

This event is a collaboration between The Student Hotel and young feminist movement The Wave.
