On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, Vliegbasis Eindhoven organizes a performance of the Royal Air Force Orchestra from 20:00 to 21:30. Nowhere else in the world are 41 blazers and a 7-head rhythm section in an orchestra. The orchestra is known for Bevrijdingspop and the Last Post at the arrival of the MH17 victims at the Eindhoven airport.

Everyone is welcome and access is free. Interested parties must sign up in advance.

The occasion for the event is the commemoration of the largest airland operation from history: Operation Market Garden. Transport aircraft and parachutes from different countries come to Eindhoven Airport to participate in the annual parachuting reconnaissance jump near Ede.
