In Conversations (at the end of the world), we witness five figures in that last moment of time. They are in an empty auditorium. All they have are their bodies and the time they have left. Together, they form a portrait of twentieth century humans who are awaiting the inevitable catastrophe that will come. They talk to each other, tell stories, dance, and play and listen to music. Dialogue by the Russian writer Daniil Charms forms the core, supplemented by interviews that Charms held with his artistic peers, the Oberioeten.
