Christmas Market the oud-tongelre way

December 14, 2019 @ 13:00 - 17:30

free

At Tongelre Christmas Market this year the annexation of Tongelre is central. The annexation took place in 2020, but in the run-up to that, the historic council meeting took place in 1919. You can bump into a few key figures from that time, such as mayor Van Engeland, pastor van Amstel, the ‘Bisschop’, ‘Vette Hendrik’ and lady Mathilde on the Christmas market.

Like every year, there is also plenty to do for the children, crafts in the greenhouse, a treasure hunt and an Anjoy performance. Although it goes without saying, snacks and drinks of various types and flavors are plentiful and what would the Christmas market be without music? There are various performances by New Balance, Project Choir Work in Progress, Small Band and of course our regular harmonica man Herman cheer up the market with Christmas songs.

For original Christmas presents you are at the right place at the Christmas market. There are many creative exhibitors who want to sell their products with enthusiasm. It is a cozy Christmas atmosphere, then Christmas Tongelre is definitely something for everyone!
