People that have been around a couple of years in the Netherlands must have noticed things get a bit crazy this time of year: Eindhoven is renamed to Lampegat, people dress-up, there’s a parade and lots of parties: it’s time for ‘Carnaval’ and you are invited to celebrate it together!

If you already have a hard time understanding dutch, it’s even worse with traditional music at Carnaval, because lyrics are can be in local dialect. So they figure they won’t bother with that and have 2 DJ’s from their community lined-up to get the dancefloor moving. They do challenge you to dress-up for this party to get you in the mood on this eve before 4 days of Carnaval.

There’s a 3 euro entrance fee, for which you get 1 free drink (so kind of for free).
